This is the first update on the “Design the BMD logo contest” and I’m hoping that anyone who’s interested in submitting their work will go through it.
So far, though it’s already the 25th of February I only received as much as four submission, which is shocking considering that the amount of interest shown in this by gamers and semi-pro designers has been incredible. On the other hand, I keep getting private messages, on Instant Messaging, forums or by email with potential submissions, those are not accepted so please upload your work here.
To get things warmed up a little, I’m gonna throw in some pieces of work that others have done and they really caught my eye, as they could be great inspiration for you in the way that you’d understand what a modern and professional logo looks like these days. The Begrip-Gaming logo is definitely very well made, simple and modern; also you can find a great way to redefine logo designing from one of the top artists in the field, David Airey. Of course, browsing the web for info is always another good option, but remember, don’t copy, we want this to be original.
Another advice that my potential competitors have evidently overlooked was the subscribe feature. I find that very useful in keeping up with updates like this one and knowing what’s new and hot in this contest. You can subscribe by email clicking here or if you’re an RSS user you can subscribe here.
On a final note, in case you were wondering where this logo is going, here is the link to the BMD-Gaming official web site to be launched in March.
Thank you all for your interest.
I would like to know if we keep sending our entries on the original post or we post it on this update?
