i prefer northern and southern european people. they are more honest and more open minded than southern ones. South of europe is full of fashonable rednecks with macho mentality.

Fabio we are criticizing the behaviour of nowdays italians not their race. you are a canadian and you cannot understand how italians of Italy are now. no one hate italian race or their culture.

i'm italian and enlil you are absolutely right. the things that you explain are terrible but they are true. the great majority of italians are pesants without brains, and i don't understand why no one give a kick in their asses. this kind of people are so terrible that during the holydays i go in a place only if i know that there are not italians there. So enlil you are absolutely right.

fabio first of all you are typical italian that insults the people that thinks in a different way and this is a symbol of great rudness. second of all many italian scientists don't go away from Italy but they ESCAPE from Italy because of corruption, bigot italian mentality about science ( thank you vatican!) and for mafia mentality that blocks meritocracy. i live in the north and i have to say that people even here are slow; i talk about people that stay with moma untill 35 years and they are not able to do anything by themselves (most of all young people). what do you say about that? http://fotios.org/node/79 do you think that is normal in a "devoleped" country?

i'm another marcello that answer to nationalist marcello. you are right only about healthcare ( but american healthcare is far less corrupted than italian one). if we talk about education it's better for you don't say that too much loud, because Usa have 54 universties among the best 100 university of the world; instead Italy have 0 universties. italians are very slow people and don't love to work and to study, instead americans are great worker and they don't stay with moma until 30 years old. americans are honest people, instead italians are cheaters and liars. and please don't cry about racism because italians are the worst racist of europe and all europeans know that.

Forgive me for thinking that you were an American !! You are an ignorant Romanian. I know a few Romanians and they are all very nice. Well I can finally say that there is an ignorant one too. AND THAT'S YOU !!!! If it wasn't for Italy and the Italian people the world would be have no calender, electricity, radio, eyeglasses, astronomy, the fork, Ice cream, I could go on for hours. You are very "stupido"and have no idea what you are talking about. Italians outlive Americans by 8-12 years, are happier, more loving, more understanding and live life ! Instead of living to work they work to live. The education ststem is better, the health care is better(2nd rated in the world) and the freshness of the food is the best in the world and Italy is the 6th richest country in the world with FREE heathcare. Do me and all Italians a favor and stay out of our country. TRY LOOKING AT YOUR OWN COUNTRY ! It's enough to make you sick ! Slums, unemployment with ridiculous benefits, racism, no decent health care for the poor, discusting food quality, and making people pay to go to college. I've been here working for an Italian company in the US for 4 years and my family and I are finally moving back home next year. Look I like the US but people like you make me realize how lucky I am to be Italian. Stop looking at your watch and start living. You can't get the time that you lose in manditory stupid meetings back and you only have one life. LIVE IT !!!! FORZA ITALIA !!!!

fabio the problem is that i'm italian and i have to stay with people that hate you only because you are not sexist,racist or fascist. do you think that is right? i don't think that europeans are forced to respect people that don't accept anything that come from other countries.

i'm italian and i agree with people that hate my people. i have met many people across the europe but italians are worst. they are racist,fascist,sexist and they are very childish. i live in the north of italy and it seems to live in Alabama of sixties. i study medicine and as soon as i take my degree, i will go away from this shithole.
